Back to School

After high school, I had a strong aversion to academics of all sorts. Now curiosity around learning is becoming stronger in my life. I'm inspired by peoples education paths. I had an amazing dinner with a friend who is beginning her midwifery practicum soon, for instance. It's been awesome and inspiring being here the last few weeks and my tailbone is looking forward to a rest from sitting- in class and while driving. The guys in this group have amazing stories and I feel proud to have been among them. 

I've been at the Western Maritime Institute in Ladysmith, BC, taking 2 courses- STCW Basic Safety and Proficiency in Survival Craft. 

One person in the group is an awesome photographer- Thierry- and he shared his photos today. Proud moments and again, knock on wood that I'll never, ever, use this stuff.
